TREYSA. „Dass wir an Karfreitag und Ostern keine Gottesdienste in der Hephata-Kirche erleben können, ist schmerzlich“, sagt Hephata-Vorstandssprecher und Pfarrer Maik Dietrich-Gibhardt. Als Ersatz gibt es Video-Andachten aus der Hephata-Kirche, die über die Hephata-Kanäle bei Facebook und YouTube veröffentlicht werden. Auch als DVD sind die Andachten für Interessenten in begrenzter Zahl verfügbar.

TREYSA. Nicht alle Menschen können Informationen in Alltagssprache verstehen. Für sie hat die Hephata Diakonie eine Kurz-Information zum Coronavirus in Leichter Sprache herausgegeben, die hier heruntergeladen und ausgedruckt werden kann.
TREYSA. Knapp zwei Wochen nach dem Start der Nähaktion sind etwas mehr als 600 Masken fertig. „Die Verteilung des Behelfs-Mund-Nasen-Schutzes über die Für Uns-Manufaktur in Treysa hat begonnen“, berichtet Michael Tietze, der das Projekt initiiert hat. Der Dank des Leiters der Sozialen Rehabilitation Hephatas gilt den zahlreichen Unterstützerinnen und Unterstützern.
SCHWALMSTADT. Sowohl an den Hephata-Förderschulen in Treysa und Immenhausen als auch in der Hephata-KiTa sind alle Vorbereitungen getroffen, um eine Notbetreuung auch in den Osterferien anzubieten. Zum heutigen Ferienbeginn ziehen die Schulleitungen ein Fazit nach drei Wochen „Homeschooling“.
TREYSA. Die Hephata-Gärtnerei hat weiter geöffnet. Da sie zu den Werkstätten für Menschen mit Behinderungen zählt, bleiben die Klientinnen und Klienten der Behindertenhilfe derzeit zu Hause. Die Mitarbeitenden halten den Betrieb am Laufen. Unterstützung bekommen sie von sechs Kolleginnen und Kollegen aus anderen Bereichen, unter anderem aus der Buchhaltung.
TREYSA. Die seit Tagen erwartete Regelung durch das Land Hessen ist am Montag, 23. März, um 20 Uhr veröffentlicht worden: Mit sofortiger Wirkung schließen alle Werkstätten für Menschen mit Behinderungen und die angeschlossenen Tagesförderstätten den Betrieb für die Klientinnen und Klienten. Die anleitenden Mitarbeitenden Hephatas setzen den Betrieb dort, wo es zwingend erforderlich ist, fort.
TREYSA. Die Hephata Diakonie passt ihre Einrichtungen der aktuellen Entwicklung der Corona-Krise an. Dazu gehört unter anderem, dass die Tagesstätten für Menschen mit Behinderungen am Donnerstag komplett schließen, für die Werkstätten und Tagesförderstätten liegt die Entscheidung beim Land Hessen. Hephata trifft Vorbereitungen und hält landesweite Schließungen für geboten.
TREYSA. Die Sicherstellung der Dienste in allen Pflege- und Betreuungsbereichen habe am ersten Tag der landesweiten KiTa- und Schulschließungen sehr gut funktioniert, betonen die Hephata-Vorstände Klaus Dieter Horchem und Maik Dietrich-Gibhardt. Nun komme es auch weiterhin auf einen guten Zusammenhalt der Teams an.
TREYSA / IMMENHAUSEN. An den Hephata-Förderschulen in Treysa und Immenhausen sowie an der Akademie für soziale Berufe findet bis nach den Osterferien kein Unterricht mehr statt. Auch alle Lehrveranstaltungen der Evangelischen Hochschule Darmstadt fallen aus.
SCHWALMSTADT-TREYSA. Hunderte internationale Designer und designinteressierte Gäste haben in der Hochschule für Film und Fernsehen in München insgesamt 30 kuratierte Produkte aus sozialen Werkstätten aus ganz Deutschland begutachtet. Auf dieser großen Bühne haben sich auch vier Produkte aus Einrichtungen der Hephata Diakonie präsentiert.
TREYSA. Die Zahl der Coronavirus-Fälle steigt bundesweit wie auch in Hessen weiter an. Um das Infektionsrisiko für Klientinnen und Klienten sowie für Mitarbeitende zu minimieren, hat der Hephata-Vorstand am Donnerstag, 12. März, entschieden:
SCHWALMSTADT-TREYSA. Zum Beethovenjahr 2020 hat der deutsch-brasilianische Komponist Jean Kleeb dem Jubilar mehrere Kompositionen gewidmet: „Beethoven goes Jazz“ und „Beethoven around the world“. Am Samstag, 21. März, um 18.30 Uhr gastiert Kleeb mit seinem Trio in der Hephata-Kirche.
SCHWALMSTADT-TREYSA. Wie beantrage ich eigentlich einen Schwerbehindertenausweis? Diese und weitere Fragen beantwortet die Ergänzende unabhängige Teilhabeberatung (EUTB) in Schwalmstadt-Treysa bei einem Info-Café.
SCHWALMSTADT-TREYSA. „Klimaschutz ist die beste Medizin“ – unter diesem Motto findet am Dienstag, 24. März, ab 19 Uhr in der Veranstaltungsreihe „dienstagsbistro“ der Diakonischen Gemeinschaft Hephata ein Vortrags- und Diskussionsabend im Speisen- und Versorgungszentrum Hephata statt. Zu Gast ist Dr. med. Susanne Koch von der Charité in Berlin.
SCHWALMSTADT-TREYSA. Wissen aus der Praxis weiter geben und Nachwuchsfachkräfte der sozialen Arbeit gezielt fördern und anleiten: Darum geht es bei der Praxisanleitung. Diese spezielle Form der „Lernbegleitung im Dialog“ steht im Mittelpunkt einer gemeinsamen Weiterbildung von Hephata Diakonie und Lebenshilfe Hessen, die kürzlich 20 Teilnehmende erfolgreich abgeschlossen haben.
SCHWALMSTADT-TREYSA. Neue Gefahren durch immer globalere Warenkreisläufe, Herausforderungen durch mangelnde Auszubildende sowie Chancen durch Inklusion waren Themen des zehnten Tags der Hauswirtschaft.
SCHWALMSTADT-TREYSA. Pinsel schwingen in der Malerwerkstatt, einmal beim Schwarzlichttheater auf der Bühne stehen oder buddeln in der Gärtnerei: Beim Girls‘ Day und Boys‘ Day am 26. März können Mädchen und Jungen Spannendes in unterschiedlichen Berufsfeldern der Hephata Diakonie erleben.
SCHWALMSTADT. Ein breites Bündnis zivilgesellschaftlicher Akteure aus Schwalmstadt und dem Schwalm-Eder-Kreis ruft gemeinsam dazu auf, ein Zeichen zu setzen für Frieden und Solidarität. Unter dem Titel „Wir stehen zusammen in Schwalmstadt“ veranstaltet das Bündnis am Samstag, 29. Februar, um 13 Uhr eine Mahnwache in der Treysaer Bahnhofstraße in Höhe des Cafés Viehmeier.
SCHWALMSTADT-TREYSA. Erzieher, Heilerziehungspfleger, Pflegefachmann, Altenpflegehelfer oder Heilpädagoge: Die Hephata-Akademie für soziale Berufe in Schwalmstadt-Treysa bietet an jedem letzten Freitag im Monat von 14 bis 16 Uhr einen Info-Nachmittag zu Aus- und Weiterbildungsmöglichkeiten an.
