HOMBERG/EFZE. Während einer Feierstunde überreichte der Dezernent für Energie und Klimaschutz, Helmut Mutschler, erstmals den Klimaschutzpreis des Schwalm-Eder-Kreises. Die Preisträgerinnen und Preisträger konnten ihre Projekte in einem feierlichen Rahmen vorstellen und die Auszeichnungen entgegennehmen.

Schülerinnen und Schüler interessierten sich für medizinische und pflegerische Berufe
SCHWALMSTADT-ZIEGENHAIN. Die Schülerinnen und Schüler der Carl-Bantzer- und Ohetalschule sowie des Schwalmgymnasiums konnten kürzlich in die vielseitigen Berufe im Klinikum Schwalmstadt reinschnuppern.
TREYSA. Reger Betrieb herrschte am Donnerstagabend im Schwalmgymnasium. Die Schülerinnen und Schüler der Oberstufe bekamen zu dieser ungewöhnlichen Zeit Einblicke ins Berufsleben aus erster Hand: Ehemalige des Schwalmgymnasiums berichteten von ihrem persönlichen Werdegang und stellten sich den neugierigen Fragen der Schüler.
Vortrag des Ehepaars Gömpel am Schwalmgymnasium
TREYSA. Gespannt verfolgten die Schüler eines Geschichtsleistungskurses aus dem aktuellen Abiturjahrgang des Schwalmgymnasiums mit ihrem Lehrer Andreas Göbel am vergangenen Freitag dem Vortrag von Marlene und Horst W. Gömpel zur Vertreibung der Sudetendeutschen aus dem Sudetenland und der anschließenden Integration in Nordhessen.
TREYSA. Zum ersten Mal veranstaltete der Ehemaligenverein des Schwalmgymnasiums am vergangenen Samstag einen musikalischen Abend, an dem sich über 50 Musiker und Sänger, alle Ehemalige und Freunde des Schwalmgymnasiums, an ihrer alten Wirkungsstätte trafen und unter der Leitung von Reiner Eder und Eva Kirchner vor über 100 Zuhören zusammen musizierten.
Firmeninformationstag am Schwalmgymnasium
TREYSA. Am Freitag fand bereits zum 10. Mal der Firmeninformationstag am Schwalmgymnasium statt. Insgesamt 24 Firmen hielten Einzug in die Klassenräume, um ca. 350 angehenden Abiturientinnen und Abiturienten einen direkten und spannenden Blick in die Berufswelt zu ermöglichen.
